Diana Mititelu is a Romanian theater director whose work spans feminist dramaturgy, physical theater, and visually driven performance.

She graduated in 2015 from the George Enescu University of Arts in Iași, where her graduation production — Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie. She completed her Masters in Directing at UNATC Bucharest under the guidance of Alexandru Darie and Vladimir Anton, where her dissertation production, The Tragedy of Man after Imre Madách, was subsequently adopted into the repertoire of the National Theater of Bucharest through the 9G program.

Her production of Edna Mazya's Backyard Games premiered at the Constanța State Theater, was selected for the Debutant Festival 2020, and was later adapted for VR viewing. In 2021, Diana received the UNITER Award for Best Debut in Directing — one of Romania's most prestigious theater honors.

Her subsequent productions include Sophie Treadwell's Machinal and Federico García Lorca's The House of Bernarda Alba — the latter receiving four UNITER nominations: Best Direction, Best Production, Best Actress in a Leading Role, and Best Lighting Design.

Her work has been presented at major Romanian and international festivals including FITS Sibiu and FNT Bucharest.
